Yard Help

We are a Philadelphia-based supplier of Building Materials and looking to add a Full Time, highly motivated, energetic individuals to our team.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Pull products and prepare them for customer pick-up.

• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.

• Provide general assistance to contractors and homeowners.

• Maintain Yard inventory and organization.

• Assist in snow removal on property

Qualifications:

• Be available to work a flexible schedule.

• Be able to lift up to approximately 100 pounds.

• Experience operating a forklift preferred, but not necessary.

• Be polite, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, punctual and able to follow instructions.

Truck Driver

We are a Philadelphia based supplier of Building Materials and looking to add a Full Time Driver to our team. As a full-time driver, you’ll travel locally to deliver building materials to our customers, while adhering to and understanding safety policies and regulations. A clean driving record, a positive attitude, and top-notch customer service skills are a must! We’re looking for experienced Truck Drivers with their CDL A or B driver license and knuckle boom experience.

Job Duties

• Pre-inspect truck, load with materials and verify load for accuracy

• Set up job perimeters, inspect site to ensure a safe environment to unload

• Unload truck at site –involves the use of knuckle boom

• Communicate regularly with dispatcher to ensure timely product delivery at job site

• Communicate potential on-site hazards to management

• Keep logbook up-to-date at all times

• Adhere to and understand safety policies and regulations

• Perform other duties as assigned Requirements

• CDL Class A or B driver license in good standing

• Prior experience operating hydraulic knuckle boom

• Drivers must be 21 years of age or older

• Experience handling building materials

• Forklift experience preferred

Office Help

We are presently searching for a part time clerical/Receptionist to work in our Center City location.

Responsibilities:

Greeting customers entering the store, answering phones, taking messages, assist sales people with filing and checking the status of orders, making change for counter sales.

This administrative support position includes;

• supporting sales transactions
• credit approvals
• management support
• receiving of all special order hardware
• billing out and receiving transfers
• receiving PO’s and hands on bookkeeping.

Qualifications:

Candidate should be organized, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be reliable and willing to learn.

Preferred hands on bookkeeping skills, MS Office experience, Excellent Customer Service, industry experience a plus.

Weekend availability required. A+ experience a plus. Candidate will support employees in all sales transactions and credit approvals, as well as management support.
